BELOW SURFACE
The current project, BELOW SURFACE, is an exploration and a meditation on the intricate relationships that bind humanity, nature, and the delicate surfaces of our world.
I am deeply and unequivocally inspired by the cellular structures that underpin life; the intricate patterns within a leaf, the reflective and meditative qualities of water and the organic geometries that thread together all living things.
My lens is a scientific instrument and a poetic voice in one. It reveals the profound interconnectedness between our species and the earth we share. It makes clear that we are not mere inhabitants living on the earth.
No, we are participants living with it.
I am drawn to Gaia's essence. The Earth is a living, breathing organism and every part is inextricably linked to the whole.
My work explores the intimate dialogue between microcosm and macrocosm. The cellular networks beneath the skin of a plant echo the rivers and pathways of the planet. Water droplets on a surface reflect both sky and soil.
These moments are metaphors for the fragile yet resilient balance we must nurture in our relationship with the natural world.
My aim in composition, texture and light is to awaken the viewer to a sense of awe and responsibility.
The artworks are much more than just images. They are invitations—to pause, to see deeply, and to connect. They are proof that the story of life is interwoven in every leaf, every ripple, every breath and it is our duty to celebrate and safeguard this story.
In every frame, I make visible the invisible connections, transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, and inspire a deeper reverence for the living tapestry that sustains us all.
